The Russian Club generally meets on Tuesdays at 5:30 pm in the Russian Department (Learning Services Building, room 309). We welcome any language level of speakers, from beginning to native-level, even if you have never spoken Russian before! We are involved in helping organize and plan different activities, so if you are interested in Russia(n) from either a cultural or language-perspective, this is the club for you!

SAMOVARTY !
On Friday Nov. 9 at 3 pm on the LSB green, we're going to have our Samovarty - our Samovar Party! This will be a potluck; we're going to be inviting other clubs to bring their games, dances, and food so that we, the Russian club, can share ours with them.
So how can you help out?
Well, you can first send music to Michael (mtstorer@email.arizona.edu); we're building playlists for the celebration. Send us your favorite Russian tracks. You can also send us ideas for any Russian-themed games you might want to play.
Second, come and eat and party! Since you're representing the Russian club, please bring with you Russian food you've cooked yourself, or Russian food you've picked up from the grocery store. If you need help or guidance in what to make, please email myself or one of the club officers and we'll tell you what we can use - and, if you're brave, send you Russian recipes (according to your level of skill in cooking).
