M.A., 2002, in Russian Language and Literature
The UA master's degree was an experience enhanced immeasurably by the dedicated and talented faculty, with whom it was possible to work so closely because of the small seminar sizes. I never felt lost in the crowd. The UA Russian Abroad Program was also an unforgettable and extremely powerful experience. Living and doing research in Moscow and making numerous trips to the various Golden Ring towns, Tver', and Saint Petersburg provided the kind of close, sustained contact that is essential for language and cultural devlopment.
