Michelle Ort holds a BA in Linguistics and Language Learning from the College of Wooster (2009), as well as an MA in Mathematics from Indiana University (2015).
She currently works as an academic advisor for undergraduates in the UA Mathematics Department while also working towards her MA in Russian. Michelle spent Fall of 2007 in Moscow with the C.V. Starr-Middlebury School in Russia. After graduation she received a Fulbright Grant to serve as an English Teaching Assistant in Ukhta, Russia for the 2009-10 academic year.
Michelle enjoys all aspects of language study, from grammatical nuance, to literary analysis, to traveling and the ultimate proofs of language mastery: making puns and arguing about credit card charges on the telephone.
