Dear Students and Colleagues,

The University of Arizona stands in support of those in our community affected by the unprovoked attack and invasion of the sovereign nation of Ukraine by Russian military forces this week. While the heart-wrenching images and news reports reaching us from Ukraine have evoked anger, sadness, and fear among people across the region and around the world, the barbaric actions by Russia also have stirred great resolve among civilized nations and allies.

I encourage any students impacted by this situation to contact Campus Health Counseling and Psych Services for mental health support and resources. Staff and faculty can reach out to Life and Work Connections for support and resources as well. Our thoughts are with those of you who have connections to the region and are undoubtedly concerned about your families and loved ones.

Sincerely,

Robert C. Robbins, M.D.

President
The University of Arizona
